Content you create
Text, style choices, saved bubbles, and thumbnails are stored locally on your device. Bubbly does not operate an account system, cloud library, analytics service, advertising network, or developer server that receives your creative content.
Photos access
When you choose a photo for an avatar, Bubbly receives only the image you select through Apple's photo picker and uses it to create your artwork. When you save a finished image, Bubbly requests the permission needed to add that image to your photo library. Bubbly does not upload your selected photos.
On-device suggestions
On supported devices, Bubbly can use Apple's on-device Foundation Models framework to suggest wording and bubble ideas. When that model is unavailable, Bubbly uses suggestions included in the app. Bubbly does not send this content to a developer-operated service.
Local storage and deletion
Bubbly stores saved work and preferences locally using Apple-provided storage frameworks. You can delete individual saved bubbles inside the app. Deleting Bubbly removes its local app data, subject to Apple's device backup and restore behavior. Images you previously saved to Photos must be removed separately from Photos.
Third-party components
Bubbly includes GlowEffectKit for a visual effect and Microsoft Fluent Emoji artwork. These bundled components are not used by Bubbly to collect data. Their license notices are available inside the app under Settings → Acknowledgements.
Changes to this policy
If Bubbly's data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated to reflect those changes.
